After an attempt to get a point of view shot using a drone camera, Enrique Iglesias suffered injury to some of his fingers.
The drones were used in Iglesias’s concert in Tijuana Mexico on May 30, 2015, and the singer’s fingers were sliced when he grabbed the drone in an attempt to get a shot of the crowd from his perspective according to businessman Flavio Maluf. Iglesias was given treatment on site to try to stop the bleeding.
Though Iglesias was told to stop the concert to receive proper treatment for the injury, he continued to perform another 30 minutes, despite continued bleeding from the wounds. Concert-goers were able to capture photos of the singer with blood staining his T-shirt and with bandages wrapping his hand in an attempt to slow the blood loss.
Following the concert, Iglesias was rushed to a nearby airport for further treatment and then was flown to Los Angeles to be seen by a specialist.
